Dr. Mike Ditolla, DDS, FAGD


A 1988 graduate of University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, Dr. DiTolla was awarded his Fellowship in the AGD in 1995. Mike was in private practice for 15 years before becoming Director of Clinical Education for Glidewell Labs for the next 15 years. From 2006 to 2009 he led the clinical team that developed and brought BruxZir Solid Zirconia to market. In 2011 he received the "Most Effective Dentist Educator" award in a nationwide survey of dentists. In 2015 he became the Director of Clinical Affairs for Sirona, and in 2017 he became the VP of Clinical Affairs for AEGIS Communications. He has given over 1,000 live lectures to dentists, and his online videos have been viewed more than 15 million views by dentists worldwide. 


Gary Vaughn, CDT, CDO


Gary Vaughn brings with him nearly 45 years of experience on the bench, with the past 7 years at Pacific Aesthetic Continuum. Gary has received extensive training, over these many years, advancing his education and skill level to world-class notoriety. A participant of the ever-popular UCLA Aesthetic Continuum between the years of 2007 to 2012, Gary managed Frontier Dental Laboratory’s Southern California operation until 2013. Having created literally tens of thousands of restorations over his career, he has lectured and actively participated clinically in the preparation, fabrication, and delivery of over 1200 veneers at the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies and Frontier Institute programs since their inception in Southern California, Northern California and Vancouver, BC. Gary is now enthusiastically engaged creating beautiful smiles with the PAC as our CTO, (Chief Technical Officer).

Dr. Michael Miyasaki, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Miyaskai is a practicing wet-fingered clinician in Sacramento, CA, who went to USC 33 years ago. He is dealing with different clinical challenges everyday from Caries, Endodontics, Restorative issues, TMD, Airway issues, Perio, Implants, Ortho, Aesthetics, and his support team. He strives to help his patients in the most predictable, caring way possible and is constantly seeking solutions to their myriad of issues. For over 30 years, when he’s discovered new and better methods, he’s shared these tips through various education formats so everyone can enjoy greater success.

It is the policy of Vista Apex that all speakers at any program offered by Vista Apex, who have a personal interest or financial investment in a company or product, abide by the following:

• While it is permissible to mention a product or company in an educational course, the speaker shall avoid distributing any handout material that includes a company name, address, and phone number, or any material that could be construed as pushing or actively attempting to sell a particular product or company.

• The speaker is prohibited from displaying their products anywhere except in the exhibit hall, but the speaker may make reference to such an exhibit.

• No Vista Apex Salesperson may be present at the lecture or online course without prior written consent from the CE Committee. Such requests must be submitted to Vista Apex 1 month prior to the course date.
